The short version
How this one-page zine works
The finished file contains eight imposed panels: a front cover, six inside pages, and a back cover. Print one-sided at 100%, fold on the dashed lines, cut only the marked centre slit, then push the short ends together and collapse the paper into a booklet.
How to fold and cut your mini zine
- Print the sheet in landscape orientation at 100% or actual size.
- Fold it in half lengthwise, crease it, and open it again.
- Fold it in half across the short direction, then fold both outside edges into the centre.
- Open the sheet and cut only the coloured slit through the two middle panels.
- Fold lengthwise again, push the short ends together, and collapse the pages into a booklet.
Ideas for your first zine
Make a tiny comic, a travel diary, a classroom project, a photo essay, a poetry issue, a local guide, a recipe collection, or a small birthday keepsake. Short pages are a feature: one thought, image, scene, or instruction per page is enough.
